Plans For my holidays

1. Complete Driving lessons ( Test is in July)
2. Continue Physiotherapy treatment
3. Learn something new- maybe tango??
4. Get a temporary job
5. Plan a holiday getaway


Got so tired of studying that I decided to plan for something to look forward to during the holidays. So I came up with a list of the things I could do. :) I have a sudden urge to go for dance lessons, may be not hip hop but social dancing. But no partner le. I'll see what I can do then.

CNY -Special

Promised to show the CNY art work by Dad. I didn't know that he had talents in art. We have Clarance as our assistance.

Genting Trip

I thought I could have missed this trip because of my knee but I still went to please my mom.

I was surprised by the coach we took. It actually has entertainment devices!! I wasn't sleeping during the journey as I watched movies like Da Vinci Code, House of Wax, Poseidon. I watched the the movie DREAMGIRLS during the journey back home and it was pretty good!! Yeah, it's in fact better than the flight I took to LA. In addition, the seat was convertable, I could have my legs raised up to 90 degrees. Yeah, I was impressed by that.





Didn't take many photos over there. We reached Genting at 3.30 am in the morning and we had our room checked in at 2.30 pm. Can you believe it? I had to go with mom to the casino. Thanks to my gift, I was able to enter the casino without being stopped by the security. Cool right? It was my first time playing Jackpot, not what I had expected though. No pulling of a joystick,just pressing of buttons. Can you believe it?(again) I was stuck at the pressing those buttons till 8.30 am in the that morning!!
Gosh, I got really sick of it by the third day.


Anyway, the place was super crowded ! Many people had to wait for their rooms. Me and mom had nothing to do while waiting.So, we took some creative pictures.

I enjoyed the manicure and some great bargains I got from the factory outlets for the trip. Haha, wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just that I had difficulties with the steps because of my stiff knee. For the first few days keep going to the casino, and I decided to take a picture of the Jackpot machines. Unexpectedly, I was stopped by the security and was commanded to delete the picture . So pai seh, didn't know cant take pictures. Haha, fortunately, she didn't check my ID, if not, I would be in great trouble.

CNY !!!

It's Chinese New Year's Eve!! For reunion dinner this year, there's a change in the menu. Yup. No steamboat this year. But we still have " Da yu , Da ruo " .

It's been a much quieter reunion dinner because Jie and Jie Fu not here!! Haha.. You guys can join us in year 2010 i guess!!

After Surgery

I have been resting at home since the day of the surgery. . My knee is still swollen. Have been elevating it whenever I can. Hmm.. not so painful as compared to the first day. 

Thanks to the painkillers I was prescribed. One of them is the antibiotics. This is first time I am eating so many types of painkillers!

I just realised I have many goodies and food ration. 

Jason's parents came to visit and gave me these. Vitamin C rich fruits, grapes and Kiwis.

Dora visited and gave me these. Chinese New Year goodies for a patient ? Haha. Anyway, I get to do any CNY shopping this year.

I am worried that I will gain weight with so much eating and no exercise at all. I am thinking when can I learn dancing, run around, go shopping ?? Just can't wait to do all those stuff ?Not forgetting,  my driving lessons are not completed yet.

In the meantime, I will have to stay home , listen to webcast lectures, study, watch tv, learning grade 1 piano, entertain myself.  

Surgery Day

I started my day at the surgery ward. Going to have my ligament reconstruction surgery! How was I feeling? It was a mix of excitement, anxious, scared feelings. But it was alright, I was lying on the theatre bed for like 20 secs before I knocked out. I didn't answer Dr Andrew's question. "Is it okay? Do you need any music to help you relax?". Well, I don't even know if there was any music played after that.

OOps.

When I woke up, I was in this state. Painful and giddy. But I was happy that it was all over. 

Thanks for the beautiful basket of flowers, Jie! Love the cute bunny!! I feel much better after having the surprise!
